Responsibilities

short-notice visits, working from each client's written care plan

Requirements

Willingness to be added to an on-call rota with short notice (usually same-day or next-day)

Full driving licence

English B1 for following a written care plan and basic client conversation

Comfortable with personal care tasks: washing, dressing, toileting support

Nice to have: previous care or support-work experience

Nice to have: QQI Level 5 healthcare qualification, or willingness to complete it with our support

Conditions

part-time, hours vary week to week depending on cover needed, typically 12 to 20 hours

start: as soon as a short induction is completed, usually within two weeks

Across Dublin and the surrounding county, we look after older adults who want to stay in their own homes — scheduled visits, live-in care placements and a small community nursing team. The company started in 2011 and now employs around 130 nurses, healthcare assistants and coordinators. Most of our clients have been with us for more than two years. Every care plan is reviewed every six weeks by a named coordinator rather than a call centre, and each carer keeps a consistent list of six to ten households instead of a different address every shift.
